About The Role

St Mary's CE Middle School is looking to launch a new Wraparound childcare service both before and after school starting in September 2024. We are now looking for one Supervisor for the After School Club.

You will play a key role in helping to shape and deliver this vital service for our pupils and parents. If you'd like to be involved in this exciting new venture, we'd love to hear from you!

Fixed term contract until 18/07/2025. Pay award pending.


Hours:


After School Club 3.15pm - 5.40pm, Monday to Friday, 12 hrs 5 mins.


About the role:


The club will aim to provide our children with fun activities coupled with tasks which are productive/educational such as supporting children with their homework. Staff will be offered the opportunity of gaining the Level 2 Food Safety certificate. Our ideal candidate(s) would have experience of working with children in a school setting and have the ability to motivate and encourage children and be an excellent team player with a passion to support children to be the best they can be.

As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.

The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
