What We Can Offer


Kingfisher ward provides care for newborns, infants, children and teenagers with endocrine, metabolic and gastroenterology conditions. We are a nurse led investigation unit where we carry out specific tests on patients who are either day cases or admitted for several days.

The ward is a family focused environment for children and their families; with the aim of providing high quality, evidence based care. Our philosophy of care is family centred, and encompasses multi-disciplinary working in a friendly and supportive environment.
