Kingfisher ward provides care for newborns, infants, children and teenagers with endocrine, metabolic and gastroenterology conditions. We are a nurse led investigation unit where we carry out specific tests on patients who are either day cases or admitted for several days.
The ward is a family focused environment for children and their families; with the aim of providing high quality, evidence based care. Our philosophy of care is family centred, and encompasses multi-disciplinary working in a friendly and supportive environment. There are opportunities for staff to gain experience and skills inGOSH is committed to recruiting the best person for the job, based solely on their ability and individual merit as measured against the criteria for the role; through a process that is fair, open, consistent and free from bias and discrimination.
