This is a great opportunity for a qualified chef to work for a leading healthcare provider, Barchester Healthcare. You will have the chance to deliver hotel/restaurant standards without the split shifts and long weeks, and work with residents to tailor menus around their preferences. As a Bank Chef at Barchester, you will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome and well-balanced menus while working with residents to tailor the menus around them. You will help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, work with fresh produce to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes, and help create a warm, efficient and fun environment. You will also be responsible for working within budget, completing regular audits, managing stock control, and assisting in leading and motivating a team.

NEED TO HAVE

A personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of residents Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent Experience in helping lead and inspire a team A good understanding of nutrition Experience of working with fresh seasonal food The ability to create a warm and welcoming environment within our home Good understanding of HACCP
