An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly enthusiastic and energetic individual to join the Division of Medicine as a Ward Housekeeper on CCU/C2 at BDGH.

The Housekeeper will work as an integral part of the ward team., working with the person in charge to ensure that all facilities on the ward are conducive to a clean, safe, tidy, comfortable and efficient environment.

Successful individuals will need to be able to work with the Ward Manager to ensure that all facilities on the ward are conducive to a clean, safe and comfortable environment.

The main elements of the role are supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of care within the ward environment by the delivery of nursing aspects of cleaning, catering and supplies management, together with other specified tasks to meet patients needs.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
