With a newly acquired UK AOC Ascend Airways will begin operating a small fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft (NG and MAX) in the ACMI market, opening its first operational base at London Gatwick in early 2024. The company is founded on the legacy of Synergy Aviation, a respected UK AOC holder, which has been acquired by Avia Solutions Group, already the world’s largest ACMI provider with over 200 airliners in operation.
We are seeking potential candidates for the position of Cabin Crew and Senior Cabin Crew to join our airline later this year.
As a Cabin Crew member, you’ll provide excellent customer care to passengers while ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the flight. You’ll Serve refreshments and meals, gifts, and duty-free items.
As part of your role, you’ll be trained to deal with security and emergency situations, which can include administering first aid to passengers.
Also, it will be your responsibility to ensure that all emergency equipment is in working order prior to take off and that there are enough supplies on board.
You’ll then take part in a safety demonstration to make sure passengers know how to use the equipment and know the safety procedures in place in the event of an emergency.
The role can be Physically and Emotionally demanding at times and there is a high degree of responsibility involved. Cabin Crew are expected to assist passengers diplomatically, even when travelling through time ones and spending extended periods of time on their feet.
Responsibilities
- Be professional, punctual, and courteous always.
- Attend a pre-flight briefing, during which you’ll be assigned your working position for the upcoming flight.
- Carry out pre-flight duties, including checking the safety equipment and doing security checks, ensuring the aircraft is clean and that up-to-date brochures are in the seat pockets.
- Welcome passengers on board and help them to their seats / putting luggage in the overhead If required.
- Inform passengers of safety procedures in place ensuring all luggage is securely stored away.
- Check all seat belts and galleys are secure prior to take off.
- Safety demonstration prior to take off.
- Serve meals and refreshments, sell duty free goods.
- General awareness and attention to passengers that may require your help throughout flight.

£22,000 + £5 Flight Pay
- At least a year held in the position of Cabin Crew.
- Hold a current UK Attestation and Medical Certificate
- Minimum age of 18
- Good Standard health and fitness, ability to swim 25 meters unaided.
- Valid Passport that permits unrestricted travel worldwide
- Hospitality/Customer Service Experience
- Languages preferable
Senior Cabin Crew Member
£25,000 + £5 Flight Pay
- At least a year held in the position of SCCM.
- Hold a current UK Attestation and Medical Certificate
- Minimum age of 18
- Good Standard health and fitness, ability to swim 25 meters unaided.
- Valid Passport that permits unrestricted travel worldwide
- Hospitality/Customer Service Experience
- Languages preferable
