Main Duties And Responsibilities


Your role as a caregiver varies and largely depends on the service users you're working with. These duties include:

• Providing high quality person centred care to service users in their own homes in accordance with their support plan
• Providing personal care duties such as washing, dressing, bathing, toileting and medication monitoring and/or assistance with these activities
• Administering medications
• Shopping and meal preparation support
• Supporting with domestic, daily living tasks including cleaning
• Helping service users to access the community, socialise and undertake leisure activities
• Manual handling, using equipment where required
• Promoting service users health and wellbeing, independence and enabling them to live their life to the fullest
• Being flexible to work a range of shift patterns including alternate weekends
• Maintaining appropriate records to meet the needs of the service, observing and promptly reporting changes or concerns in your service users circumstances or condition.
• Treating service users with dignity and respect, communicating effectively to meet their diverse needs
  
  

Essential Requirements to Join us:-

• 6 months of paid experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker, gained within the last 12 months
• Availability that will allow you to complete a minimum of 4 shifts per week
• An understanding of codes of practice
• Completion of company training courses within timescales
• Ability to be flexible with shifts
