The Booking and Scheduling Team at the NMGH Manchester Foundation Trust has a vacancy for an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible individual looking for a challenge in a post that is both interesting and varied. The department is the central hub for outpatient and inpatient booking.

The role will involve booking for all patients who require an out patient appointment or procedure. You will also deal with inbound and outbound calls to agreed professional standards and provide administration and monitoring support for the referral pathways.

You will provide an efficient and high quality service to meet the requirements of the Directorate and to support the Directorate and Trust in achieving its key access targets. You will be expected to liaise with senior clinical staff, outpatient staff and managers on the maintenance of services ensuring that accurate information is provided to patients via clinic letters whilst working to national access targets.

The post holder will liaise with the Directorate teams, manage waiting lists, booking for Outpatient and Inpatient appointments, diary management of the speciality and speciality referrals.
