What might it look like to work here?
Stand by, we'll show you...
Our services are delivered at community bases, hospitals, clinics and people’s homes, delivering care as close to home as possible.
Hospital at Home is an exciting service developed under the Thames Valley Provider Collaborative. The Hospital at Home team supports young people with eating disorders who meet the threshold for inpatient care.
In some cases, admission will be prevented and in others, young people will be stepped down to this model following a short inpatient admission. Hospital at Home maximizes the use of new technology, provides care close to home, reduces admission, length of stay, waiting times and provides earlier discharge from inpatient care.
Under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist, the main role of the Assistant Psychologist post will be to support the multidisciplinary team in the development, delivery, and evaluation of treatment. This will include supporting in formulations, delivering brief structured psychological interventions, helping to develop service literature, and working with service users, carers, and clinicians to collect high quality service audit data.
