Are you a dedicated and compassionate Minor Illness Nurse seeking a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of your community? We have an exciting position just for you!

We are hiring a Minor Illness Nurse to work 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 18:30. Flexible working arrangements are available, and we welcome discussing this during the interview.

Join our established practice serving 12,000 patients, part of a larger group of GP practices. You'll work alongside a supportive team including doctors, prescribing nurse practitioners, practice nurses, HCAs, and administrative staff.

As a Minor Illness Nurse, you will provide high-quality care which will include assessing and treating minor illnesses such as UTIs, respiratory infections, sore throats, ear infections and other minor ailments.


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • NMC Registered
  • PgCert Practice Nursing qualification
  • Prescribing qualification preferred but not essential
  • Good understanding of QOF, Enhanced Services, and CQC/NICE guidelines
  • Strong IT, organisational, communication, and clinical skills
  • Experience working within a nursing team essential
  • Primary care and GP practice experience desirable
  • Position subject to DBS check
