As a Community Connector, you will work with our customers and communities to drive social impact. You will support local organisations to improve or increase their offering and where possible support them to raise funding. You will also direct customers to available support and promote projects that are developed by Places Impact.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that applicants have: a knowledge of the voluntary and social enterprise sector; experience in multi-agency working, and experience managing small budgets. We would also welcome applicant that understanding of the challenges our customers and communities face. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential as is the ability to develop effective working relationships.
Applicants should be self-motivating and work under their own initiative. Most importantly, you should be proactive and able to make things happen.
Please note, this is an agile home based role covering the Lancashire region with a focus on Preston, Chorley and Blackburn.
A driving licence is essential for this role.
