IKEA Manchester are looking to welcome Checkout Assistants and Customer Relations Assistants.

WHAT WE OFFER
• The Start Date of employment will be: 15th September
• Competitive hourly rate of £12.00 per hour.
• 16 Hours working 4 days per week include 3 out of 4 weekends per month.

• Face to face customer service and Checkout Experience experience is preferred but not essential.
• You have a customer first mindset, where you make the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do.
• You have a pro-active approach, love multi-tasking, and are passionate about being part of the team but also can work independently.
• You are computer literate and able to work with technology.
• Assertive and able to remain calm and controlled when faced with emotional customers under stressful times
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• You have the knowledge, confidence, and desire to make customer payment easy. Using the till to accurately register products and register payment from customers according to given routines.
• You provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, by offering solutions to frequently asked questions. This helps to make a better future shopping experience for everyone.
• You ensure our store is always a safe and secure environment for visitors and colleagues and follow cash handling procedures to ensure the security of money handling.
• You ensure accurate scanning of all products to allow our customers to have full availability of our range.
• You will use your knowledge, confidence, and desire to resolve customer complaints, dealing positively and quickly with any issues raised.
• You provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, by offering solutions to frequently asked questions. This helps to make a better future shopping experience for everyone.
• You ensure our store is always a safe and secure environment for visitors and colleagues and follow cash handling procedures to ensure the security of money handling.
• You ensure accurate handling of all returned products, highlighting any quality issues immediately.
• Assist customers who are having difficulties and be able to exchange spare parts when they are needed.
