To provide assist in the assessment and management of patients with a range of eye conditions who attend Ophthalmology Department.
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and hard-working person to work in our ophthalmology outpatient unit for a 9 month fixed term or secondment. You must be an excellent communicator as you will have everyday contact with multi-professional colleagues where results and positive achievements will be crucial. Exceptional personal and organisational qualities are key attributes in this role. “Although this position is a 9 months fixed-term contract, the actual contract duration will be adjusted to account for the time taken to advertise the post, complete the hiring process, and finalise pre-employment checks. This means the contract will begin when the candidate starts the role and may be slightly shorter than 9 months.”
To contribute to the delivery of high standards of practice in all aspects of the service and in clinical skills.
To co-ordinate clinical activities and develop clinical expertise through leadership
To assist in the smooth running and organisation of the shift team.
To rotate through the Ophthalmology Department.

To ensure high quality patient care is delivered and take appropriate steps if this is not the case.
To participating in the delivery and organisation of formal and informal teaching
