Job summaryThe Vaccine & Testing research team are seeking an individual with a passion for research and an interest in early phase clinical trial delivery, to assist the team in expanding their portfolio in exciting novel and groundbreaking research. Based in a purpose build Clinical Research Facility the post holder will contribute to high quality robust public health studies to improve the health and wellbeing of Individuals and communities.
The post holder will have the opportunity for career development in a supported work environment and the option of involvement in various projects to support the delivery of clinical trials within the region.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will support the senior research nurses in managing and assisting with practical assessments involved in both vaccine and testing research studies. These may include questionnaires, vital signs, collection of samples including blood, urine and swabbing and observation of participants post vaccination. The post holder will be required to complete all administrative duties associated with these assessments including entering results on to a computer-based data collection system. The post holder will ensure that the research is undertaken within research governance and good clinical practice (GCP) guidelines and safeguards the wellbeing of participants
