Modern Apprentice (Nursery Assistant)

1 x posts - Little Acorns Day Nursery, Royal Cornhill Hospital
Band 2 (£23,362-£25,368)
37 hours per week 2 year training contract
Both Little Acorns Day Nursery and Woodend Nursery offer excellent opportunities for you to develop a career in childcare you will be working with an innovative and motivated nursery team delivering a high standard of childcare within the nursery setting for NHS Grampian employees.
It is hoped that the successful candidates will be able to commence employment in August 2024 and will participate in a variety of job-rotational placements providing an excellent range of work experience.
This post is a 2 year training contract, and the successful candidate will be required to complete Social Services (Children & Young People) qualifications Level 2 (scqf level 6) and maintain a work-based evidence e-portfolio in addition to participating in other organisational personal development activities associated with the post.
All applicants should be able to demonstrate good communication skills and be able to cope with working in a busy nursery environment.
Applicants must possess the following qualifications at the time of application:
A minimum of 5 National 5 Grades (or equivalent) at A, B or C in English, Maths and ICT (or similar) and two other subjects of your choice.
