Location & Hours
Our team works both on-site, at City Hospital Nottingham, and remotely from home. This role will require some travel to other NUH sites. Office opening hours are between 8am 5pm, Monday Friday.
Many of our team work flexibly, including; part-time, flexible start & finish times and compressed hours. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you need. We cant promise to give you exactly what you want, but we do promise to consider all requests.

The Learning Team forms part of the Learning & Organisational Development Department (People Directorate) at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. We are a well-established team that delivers on-boarding programmes, mandatory training, designs and develops eLearning and manages the Trust-wide Learning Management System.
The Learning Admin Manager is responsible for key systems and processes across the function and leads the Learning Helpdesk that provides valuable support and guidance to 19,000 NUH employees accessing the Learning Management System.
About the Role
The Learning Admin Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Learning Helpdesk, line managing the team that handles queries from NUH employees accessing the Learning Management System to complete training.
As part of the management team for the Learning Team, this role is also responsible for the management of:
Trust venues at City and QMC sites
Systems and processes across the Learning function
Training and appraisal data
Finance processes
The Learning Admin Manager will also lead on projects that directly impact on their areas of responsibility, presenting the post holder with the opportunity to identify areas of focus and support the continuous improvement of the Service.
Working closely with the Learning & Development Manager, this post plays a significant role in the governance of mandatory training and Corporate Induction for the Trust.
The post holder will be part of a team of facilitators for learning and development events, including Corporate Induction.

Effectively lead and manage a team
Communicate well to build effective working relationships
Facilitate group events and meetings
Maintain effective systems and processes
Apply project management principles
