Job summaryWe have an exciting opportunity for a caring and compassionate nurse who is an experienced in the innovative field of cancer nursing, providing excellent quality care for cancer patients during their Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment.
We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic staff with excellent communication skills to join our already established teams but also to lead and develop new services and ways of working as our Oncology teams grasp this opportunity to influence, shape and develop the changing face of cancer care and service provision at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals
The Rosemere Cancer Centre is the regional cancer center for Lancashire and South Cumbria. We provide complex regimes and chemo - radiotherapy treatments. During our 20 years research and development has seen many improvements in the care and treatments that are delivered and this is set to continue.
Main duties of the jobThe Ribblesdale Ward has provides care for patients at any point in their oncology or haematology journey. The successful post holder will have a proven record of leadership, a minimum of 2 years oncology experience and always have the patient at the forefront. They will need to be a team player who is able to motivate and enhance the existing team.

What we do:
- Cytotoxic chemotherapy
- Trial treatments
- Biological therapies
- Radiotherapy
- Palliative care including complex symptom management at end of life.
