The Healthcare Assistant will undertake the following, training on certain aspects may be facilitated for the right candidate:

- Provide high standards of nursing care and support to patients.

- Maintain respect and dignity to the patient at all times.

- Work closely the Practice Nurse to undertake task relating to QOF.

- Treat, dress and monitor patients wound and ask for advise from other clinicians within the team if and where necessary.

- Undertake ECG's.

- Undertake BP monitoring.

- Undertake 24hr BP monitoring.

- Undertake phlebotomy.

- Undertake vaccine administration - B12 / Flu etc.

- Undertake INR monitoring - training may be given for the right candidate.

- Undertake NHS Healthchecks and advise the patient accordingly.

- Monitor fridge temperatures and record on practice system.

- Maintain statutory training online.

- Replenish clinical rooms and order stocks where needed.

- Change and sanitise clinical equipment and curtains.

We have an exciting opportunity available for Healthcare Assistant (HCA), to join a friendly and welcoming GP Surgery in Twickenham on a permanent basis.

The working hours are part time hours to be discussed but working on a Monday and Friday is essential.

Healthcare Assistant experience is essential, but there are skills/training such as INR star training that can be facilitated for the right candidate.

General Healthcare Assistant experience is essential. This can be within a hospital or GP Practice setting.

The role will include patient care including: wound care, vaccines, ECG's and some phlebotomy.

The vacancy is part time and will require the candidate to work on a Monday and Friday. Exact days/hours and rate of pay can be discussed and will reflect experience.
