We have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Ward Clerk on Acute Medical Unit (Elderly Admissions), where you will a play vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ward.

As a key member of the administrative team, you'll be responsible for managing patient records, coordinating appointments and providing essential support to healthcare professionals. This position requires excellent organisational skills , attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment. This role is covering the medicine care group. (Elderly)

Working Pattern - Wednesday 15.00-20.00, Thursday 08.00-20.00, Friday 08.00-20.00 - Every other weekend 5.00 hours Saturday 08.00-13.00 and 5.00 hours Sunday 08.00-13.00

Interested applicants must have excellent communication skills, be a good team player and enjoy meeting and working with the public.

Basic computer skills are also a requirement for the job and NHS experience would be an advantage, however full training will be given to the successful applicant on use of the hospital computer systems.

The successful applicants will be expected to cover all admin support for the wards and units.
