Job Purpose:

We are seeking a junior psychiatrist to provide medical input for patients referred to Eleanor for treatment, working closely with the MDT to manage complex mental health needs and high-risk cases. The role involves attending daily MDT meetings, coordinating with local GPs for physical health screening, gather collateral histories, preparing tribunal reports, and documenting care. The post-holder will contribute to clinical governance through audits and research, participate in the on-call rota, and attend internal meetings. The post-holder will be responsible to the Hospital Director and accountable to the Group Medical Director.

The post-holder is required to be registered with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and will be expected to achieve and maintain good standing for CPD in line with the requirements of the RCPsych.

Experience working with female EUPD is essential for this role.
