Relief Pharmacy Dispenser/Trainee Pharmacy Dispenser - Grampian Area covering Lhanbryde, Lossiemouth, Normac, Taylor, Buckpool and Aberchirder pharmacies
(37.5 hours per week)
Monday-Friday : 9am-5.30pm (daily 1 hour unpaid break)
As a Relief Pharmacy Dispenser/Trainee Pharmacy Dispenser you will assist the Pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of our patients medications. We are looking for someone who is accurate in their approach and able to provide exceptional service all round. This is a relief position which will require you work across our various pharmacies in the Grampian area. You must be willing to travel and the use of your own vehicle is essential (mileage expenses will be discussed at interview).

As a Right Medicine Pharmacy Dispenser/Trainee Pharmacy Dispenser, you’ll work as part of the Pharmacy team along with Pharmacy Assistants, Technicians and the Pharmacist to provide the Right care for our patients and customers. The role will involve assisting the Pharmacist and Technicians in the labelling, endorsing, ordering and preparation of all types of prescriptions and medicine orders, co-ordinating daily and weekly prescriptions ensuring where necessary, scripts are re-ordered and all items are made up in advance ready for collection or delivery, dealing directly with patients in obtaining medical information and dispensing prescriptions along with any other duties essential to the smooth operation of the Pharmacy.
About You?
You must be willing to travel to and work across our various pharmacies in the Grampian area and the use of your own vehicle is essential to this role.
We are ideally looking for someone who has Pharmacy experience in dispensing of medication via the formal pharmacy training route however, this is not essential and applications are welcome from those looking to progress into a role within Pharmacy.
This role is one that will require a number of formal training programmes that require completion both in working hours, but also sometime outside of working hours.

You should have the ability to work in a busy, fast paced healthcare environment, be reliable, have excellent customer service skills along with a friendly personality that our patients can trust!
