My clients resdiential childrens hospice located in Mancheser and Stcokport, are recruiting experienced carers to care for young adults with life limiting conditions who also have complex needs. Care will be provided in a family centred environment.


Post: Care Assisant


  • Salary: £22,3£26,958 (dependent on qualifications and experience)
  • Shift times: 7.30am to 3pm / 2pm to 9pm / 9pm to 8am
  • Contracted hours: full time 37.5 hours per week and part time available

As an enthusiastic and motivated person, you will become a valued member of the multi-disciplinary team which delivers holistic care to young adults with a wide range of complex needs.


Responsibilties


  • personal care
  • general cleaning
  • reporting changes to a senior
  • emotional support
  • liasing with friends, family and healthcare professionals
  • assisting with meals and activities

We are looking for a care assistant with the following:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
