Oxfordshire Community Dental Service is looking to recruit a Locum Senior Dental Officer to provide dental treatment to special care adults and children using a variety of treatment modalities, and to provide leadership and management at East Oxford and Witney Dental Clinics in conjunction with the Senior Management Team.
Oxfordshire Community Dental Service provides countywide special care and paediatric dentistry to the local population, operating from multiple sites and delivering care via a wide range of treatment modalities including sedation and general anaesthesia.
The service is part of Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust which is a large multi-service trust.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated clinician with excellent interpersonal skills who wishes to join an extensive team.
You will provide a comprehensive range of high quality dental care for special care children and adults, including provision of treatment under sedation, general anaesthesia and domiciliary care.
In addition you will support the Senior Management Team and undertake managerial roles. You will assume a leadership role in a clinical area and/or a geographical locality/team as appropriate.
Full registration with the General Dental Council and a current performer number are essential for post.
A full driving licence is essential.
