Patient Pathway Co-ordinator
Department - Orthotics
Band 4 £26,530 - £29,114 Per annum
Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working
The Patient Pathway Co-Ordinator - Orthotics role is an exciting opportunity to gain a myriad of experience in administrative duties within the NHS.
You can expect the opportunity to get involved in supporting the Orthotic clinical service, which provides stock and bespoke appliances to patients in an outpatient setting. The Patient Pathway Co-Ordinator will also liaise with key stakeholders to maintain Orthotic stock in areas such as the Fracture Clinic, community Neuro-Rehab units and Wards across the Trust.
You will be based in an open plan office environment with other Therapy Administrators. The post holder will work closely with a supporting Administrator role and be required to delegate work to the administrator post as required.
The post holder will work closely with the Therapies Operational Manager to develop the Orthotic service, with the aim of consistently improving the clinical service. You will work closely with the Orthotists to plan diaries.
The Orthotic Service is currently delivered by Blatchford, the post holder will work closely with their area and clinical managers to ensure the performance of the department aligns with their self-prescribed and Trust-set objectives

To deliver a professional, comprehensive and efficient level of administration support and consistently ensure a patient-focused service which promotes good customer service and effective working relationships working across the therapy services based at Milton Keynes Hospital and Stony Stratford Health Centre.
The post holder will oversee the accurate and timely inputting and maintaining of data, on data systems, together with the associated correspondence, ensuring standard operating procedures are applied.
