About The RoleSt Mary's CE Middle School is looking to launch a new Wraparound childcare service both before and after school starting in September 2024. We are either looking for one Supervisor for both positions or individual Supervisors for the Breakfast and After School Clubs.
You will play a key role in helping to shape and deliver this vital service for our pupils and parents. If you'd like to be involved in this exciting new venture, we'd love to hear from you!
Hours:
Breakfast Club 7.30am - 8.35am, Monday to Friday, 5 hrs 25 mins.
After School Club 3.15pm - 5.40pm, Monday to Friday, 12 hrs 5 mins.
About the roles:
The clubs will aim to provide our children with fun activities coupled with tasks which are productive/educational such as supporting children with their homework. A light breakfast will be served in the morning and staff will be offered the opportunity of gaining the Level 2 Food Safety certificate. Our ideal candidate(s) would have experience of working with children in a school setting and have the ability to motivate and encourage children and be an excellent team player with a passion to support children to be the best they can be.

This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
