An experienced Clinical Psychologist with an interest in clinical health psychology and the impact of growing up and living with haemophilia or other inherited or acquired bleeding disorders. You may have experience of working with physical health problems with either children/families or adults, or experience of working in child and adolescent or adult mental health services with a keen interest and desire to apply that knowledge to work in an acute trustThe main duties of the role will involve working closely with the haemophilia team to offer psychological care to those with haemophilia or other inherited or acquired bleeding disorders.
You will work with children, young people and adults, providing consultation to staff, working directly with patients and families, and by attending haemophilia clinics. You will be instrumental in developing the psychology service within the speciality, as the service has not had any recent dedicated clinical psychology support.
You will be part of a welcoming and growing Clinical Psychology Department which incorporates specialisms in Paediatric Psychology, Adult Medical Psychology and Child and Adult Neuropsychology.
