The post holder will work as part of the Cardiac Catheter Lab team assisting medical staff with diagnostic and interventional procedures. In this theatre style environment the nurse will have both scrub and circulating duties. There is a requirement to wear a lead coat during procedures.

We have 5 Cardiac Cath Labs and nurses are an important part of the multi-disciplinary team; we really hope that you would love to join us in our labs.
We provide a full range of procedures here at St George's including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, pacing and TAVI. We are a primary PCI centre and are also the SW London arrhythmia centre.
We can offer you support and professional development, you will work closely with our practice support nurse to develop a full range of competencies in both working as the scrub nurse and circulating nurse. Once you are fully trained you will work as part of our on-call team providing emergency care to our most unwell patients - so come be part of a team that literally saves lives on a daily basis!
