Cowdenbeath Medical Practice has an opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and forward thinking team. We are a busy training practice with a patient population of over 11,500 patients. We are committed to offering high quality patient care whilst providing a friendly, supportive and enjoyable environment to work.

You should be a team player with a flexible approach to work with the ability to prioritise your workload around the demands of a busy working environment. You must be enthusiastic; self motivated and be able to work as part of a team. Previous experience of General Practice is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Good communication skills, excellent telephone manner and a positive approach to dealing with patients when under pressure are necessary. Computer literacy, good keyboard skills and the ability to multitask are essential requirements for this role.

Hours will be 8:30am-6:00pm worked over 3 days in the week. Working days will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday however, there is a requirement for a degree of flexibility.
