Job summaryAs the Lead Centre for Paediatric Intensive Care services for the West Midlands, we care for critically ill children from a wide range of specialties including cardiac, ECMO, liver, medical, oncology, renal, surgery, neuro and trauma.
If you are an experienced (6 months post qualifying), paediatric, adult or neonatal nurse we would welcome your application. No critical care experience is necessary. We provide a fantastic 18 month educational Foundation Programme; however, depending on your qualifications and experience, fast track is available for leadership and development opportunities.
As an experienced band 5 (6 months plus) you job will be:
- To provide high quality care for the child and family in a safe and professional environment.
- Family integrated care is promoted by working in partnership with the child and family.
- All staff will be supported in order to develop professional expertise in Paediatric critical care.
- Professional development will support NMC and mandatory requirements and meet service need.
