Band 3: £24,071 to £25,674 a year per annum pro rata  PERMANENT 
The post holder will provide effective and efficient administrative support to Community Dental staff and the Service Manager.

To receive referral letters via email from GDPs, GPs and other referral sources and transfer electronically to the dental patient management system

Ensure timely triage of all new patient referrals in order that relevant information is available for clinicians to be able to triage for clinical assessment

Correspond with patients regarding booking their appointments and to book new patient appointments for patients using the dental patient Management system

The post holder will be an integral part of the team, responsible for administrative work ensuring an efficient process and pathway for referrals to the community dental service.

The post holder will provide effective and efficient administrative support to Community Dental staff and the Service Manager. They will oversee and manage the new patient referrals in order to maintain efficient delivery of patient services. The post holder will have particular responsibility for booking new patient clinic appointments, dealing with enquiries, typing and receipt and dispatch of correspondence.
