The NHS Long TermPlan committed to the extension of the Targeted Lung Health Checks (TLHC)programme across England to help deliver the ambition to diagnose three out offour people with cancer at an early stage by 2028. In South Yorkshire, theprogramme is currently live in Doncaster, Bassetlaw, Rotherham and Barnsley.

The core purpose of the role is to develop and projectmanage the Targeted Lung Health Check programme across the Cancer Alliance area,including the expansion to Sheffield.

The post holder will require a high degree of agileworking, in a fast-paced challenging health care environment to ensure theproject is delivered to the timescales.

  • Manage the design, co-ordination and implementation of theTLHC project working with a wide range of stakeholders across South Yorkshireand Bassetlaw.

  • Provision of efficient and agile project management for theTLHC project from design through to delivery.
