The postholders will be responsible for supervising the education centre on the site they are based and it activities and will lead on a specific area of medical education work.
We are currently looking for two Medical Education Co-ordinators to join our dynamic multi-professional Medical Education Team. These posts are offered on a permanent full time basis.

The successful candidates will work closely with the Medical Education Manager and Medical Education Administrators to support the provision of medical education across the Trust.

The postholder will be line managed by a Medical Education Manager and will supervise the Medical Education Administrators. The Medical Education Co-ordinator role provides a great opportunity to work closely with wide range of colleagues within the trust, both clinical and administrative, as well as doctors in training.

The appointees will therefore need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organisational and planning skills and be able to provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support whilst meeting multiple deadlines.

The post allows for a range of skills to be utilised making it a varied and enjoyable role for someone who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a busy team.

This is one of two posts designed to provide high quality administrative support to the medical education centers and its activities on the Hammersmith, Charing Cross and St Mary’s sites.

Key Areas Of Responsibility Include


Provide an efficient and comprehensive senior administrative support to the medical education department maintaining a high professional standard at all times, ensuring efficient and effective support is provided.

Contribute to positive experiences for doctors in training through helpful support and administration

Proactively plan ahead and coordinate requirements for doctors in training

To manage and prioritise a busy workload for the specific allocated work stream using a high level of initiative.

To demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with a wide range of NHS staff and external agencies/organisations.
