About The Role
CALA Management (Scotland) Ltd are looking for a
part-time Receptionist
to join the team based in Hermiston Gate, Edinburgh. In your role, you will answer and direct all incoming telephone calls, meet and greet all visitors who arrive at reception, book taxis for visitors and staff, reserve meeting rooms, sort and distribute incoming mail, frank outgoing mail and arrange couriers, manage and order stationery, order and set up catering as required.
You will also provide ad hoc administrative support to the various teams within the office, which will include photocopying, binding and laminating documents. You must have the ability to deal with a variety of tasks while remaining calm and in control. Experience of working in a busy office environment is essential.
The above list of duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post, including becoming a First Aider and Fire Marshal.
About You
The successful candidate must have previous administration experience, a friendly disposition and be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook. The candidate will need to be highly organised and have the ability to work under pressure showing initiative and acting proactively when required. Above all else, the appointed candidate must have a positive work ethic and can-do attitude.
The hours of work will be 20 hours per week (Monday – Thursday 8.30 am – 1.30 pm), with flexibility required to cover annual leave and sick leave.
