We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and efficient administrator to join our team. You will be providing secretarial and administrative support to our clinical team and will often be the first point of contact for patients, clinicians and staff throughout the department. You will be vital in supporting our referral triage process and clinic administration - ensuring that our patients are seen by the right team, at the right time, in the right place.

Applicants will need to demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as word processing and IT skills. The successful applicant will be expected to effectively prioritise work and meet challenging deadlines. You will possess good keyboard skills, a confident telephone manner and have Customer Service experience. Your main working site will be Charing Cross Hospital but there will be some cross site working as and when needed.

  • The post holder will provide a comprehensive and highly efficient administration and secretarial role to the department.
  • To support clinic management within the department including booking/rebooking of appointments, clinic reschedules, etc.
  • The post-holder will be expected to work independently, manage and prioritse their workload, liaising closely with the wider administration team.
