Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust are excited to invite applications from suitably qualified clinicians for the role of Advanced Paramedic Urgent Care (South Yorkshire). Applicants for qualified posts should meet the essential criteria for the role, already holding an MSc in advanced clinical practice (or equivalent) and able to work independently across the four pillars of advanced practice.
We also welcome applications to trainee posts from those who meet the essential criteria for the role and hold a PGDip in advance practice (or equivalent). The Trust will support successful candidates with their educational attainment and where identified the development of specific capabilities across the wider three pillars of advanced practice: leadership and management, research and audit, and education.
You will have the drive, leadership skills and clinical excellence to take on the exciting and challenging role of Advanced Paramedic Urgent Care. The current advert is to fill a postion within South Yorkshire to develop practice across the defined geographical area.
Utilising your advanced practice knowledge and skills, the post holder will provide advanced clinical care and management, coordinating the care of patients with complex and challenging health care needs.
In addition, Advanced Paramedics Urgent Care will provide direct clinical supervision to a team of Specialist Paramedics / Nurses Urgent Care and contribute to the wider operational clinical team through professional activities related to the four pillars of advanced practice.
We are seeking a qualified HCPC registered paramedic with a minimum of 5 years post registration experience in an urgent & emergency care role, significant experience at advanced practice level, and demonstrable experience working within a clinical supervisory/leadership role.
