Support will be provided by the other Principal Therapists and Divisional Therapy managers and continuous development is provided through appraisal, internal training and external learning.
Principal Therapist (12 month temporary secondment cover)We are looking for a committed and forward thinking Principal therapist, with a proven track record of leading and developing staff and services, to join the Medical & Surgical Therapies Team at the University Hospital of North Midlands. The role involves working within the broader therapy management team across Royal Stoke & County sites alongside the other principal therapists who support Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams in all clinical divisions.
This is a really exciting opportunity for someone to demonstrate their leadership and management skills in a fast paced acute setting as well as providing clinical expertise to the teams. This speciality lends itself naturally to innovative ways of working and we are looking for a creative thinking individual who thrives on new challenges and is able to demonstrate a solution focussed approach in problem solving.
Support will be provided by the other Principal Therapists and Divisional Therapy managers and continuous development is provided through appraisal, internal training and external learning. Participate in Trust and external leading programs are actively encouraged. The successful candidate will be expected to fully invest in the Trust Values of Compassion, Improving, Safer and Together.
