Talking Therapies Hampshire (TTH) is an exciting, transformative and expanding psychological therapies service and is looking to recruit High Intensity CBT Therapists to join one of our high performing and creative teams.

We are a strong partnership service; comprised of a collaboration between Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and Solent Mind charity. We strive to deliver a high quality, evidence-based, service user-centred therapy service, to the population of Hampshire. We are looking to employ High Intensity CBT Therapists to deliver high quality therapeutic interventions to our local residents.

The post holder will work with clients who present with a range of complex anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder and depression related problems at step 3 for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective.

The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.

At TTH, service users are at the heart of what we do. We are a passionate and supportive team, dedicated to improving mental health in our local communities.

It is for applicants who are able to work in-person in the Winchester area.

Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service

Assess service users suitability for psychological interventions face to face.

Offer High Intensity treatment in individual and group format

Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to NHS Talking Therapies Hampshire referral protocols, and refer unsuitable service users on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary and set out in the SOP.

Conduct risk assessments, prepare risk management plans and initiate appropriate action where indicated (including referrals to relevant secondary care services and child and adult safeguarding services)

Attend clinical supervision in group or individual format within service.
