Job overviewThe post holder will provide a quality and responsive Personal Assistant service, to the Managing Director / Clinical Director as required.
You will need to be able to use your initiative and plan your own workload in a way that supports the business programme of the Managing Director/Clinical Director.
In addition, you will be expected to exercise judgment and initiative when communicating with other senior managers, Trusts and outside agencies, and to act as a focal point for queries on behalf of and in the absence of the Managing Director. A confident and engaging telephone/email manner and the ability to act in a proactive manner are essential. The role will involve working independently, supporting the Managing Director/Clinical Director in managing complex relationships with external and internal stakeholders and will require a significant level of interpersonal skills.
The post holder must be comfortable working with varied professional groups. An aptitude for innovation is encouraged.

Main duties of the job - Liaise with the Managing Director/Clinical Director as required in the portfolios and corporate
- Ensure the Managing Director/Clinical Director have to hand all necessary papers, documents and/or reports at the commencement of each working day in addition to those required for any scheduled meetings or
- Receive visitors for the Managing Director/Clinical Director
- Deal with routine correspondence on behalf of the Managing Director/Clinical Director, including preparing letters and reports for
- Ensure the speedy and efficient dispatch of incoming post and telephone
- Receive all incoming post, and faxes, collating where required with previous related
correspondence before passing to the respective Managing Directo /Clinical Director and prioritisation.
