The role of the Team Leader, Addiction Care Team is to lead the clinical team who will provide assessment, brief advice and onward referral as required to current inpatients at Kings College Hospital who are dependent on alcohol and/or other substances.
They will be required to conduct specialist clinical assessments and support care pathways for patients currently in Kings College Hospital, including the emergency department.
They will be responsible for ensuring that the Addiction Care Team functions as an integral part of the hospital and the maintenance of effective communication with all relevant personnel and agencies, both internally within the Trust, externally with a range of agencies and in particular, with King’s College Hospital.
The service runs 7 days a week so some week-end and evening work will be required.
