Band 5 Community Dietitian – Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership (ACH&SCP)
We have a position for a band 5 dietitian to work in our community services in Aberdeen City. This is a great opportunity for a new graduate to gain experience and consolidate their knowledge across a range of different areas, including nutritional support, adult weight management, gastroenterology, tube feeding, diabetes and paediatrics. This post will provide an excellent grounding for progressing your career.
You will be working in small, supportive, friendly team of dietitians, health care support workers and administrative staff, but also with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, including other Allied Health Care Professionals, medical and nursing staff. This post also offers the opportunity to rotate into Woodend hospital which specialises in rehabilitation and neuro rehabilitation. We are actively engaged in the use of technology to deliver care wherever possible.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, an ability to work in partnership with others, a desire to improve services to meet patient needs.
We have well established links with dietitians across all sectors in Grampian and work together to provide excellent CPD opportunities for all of our staff, particularly around clinical effectiveness, quality improvement, patient safety and patient centeredness. We foster a supportive working environment and encourage staff to develop and share their learning and experiences.

This role will allow you to develop and grow your confidence and skills in delivering presentations and training to others.
The postholder will work Mon-Fri, but there is a requirement to provide services flexibly to meet the needs of service users. This will include providing services over weekends and extended hours if the service demands
UK license and access to a car is necessary. Please note Aberdeen has a Low Emission Zone in and around the city centre.
