Are you passionate and experienced in providing Physiotherapy? Would you like to be part of a highly qualified team providing support in the assessment of womens health patients/clients with antenatal or postnatal musculoskeletal conditions and patients.

Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust are currently seeking an experienced Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to provide a high quality, responsive service for patients with neuromusculoskeletal/orthopaedic conditions related to pregnancy and/or womens health problems related to pelvic floor muscle dysfunction/ urological or gynaecological conditions.

To be clinically responsible for a designated caseload of patients/clients and to organise this effectively and efficiently with regard to clinical priorities and use of time.

To undertake a comprehensive assessment of womens health patients/clients with antenatal and/or postnatal musculoskeletal conditions and patients with gynaecological or urological problems using a range of recognised and specialised clinical assessment techniques.

To determine a diagnosis and prognosis through the application of clinical reasoning skills and specialist knowledge of physiological and pathological processes and syndromes, with neuromusculoskeletal/Orthopaedic conditions related to pregnancy and/or to womens health problems related to pelvic floor muscle dysfunction and/or other urological or gynaecological conditions.

To be able to recognise when a patient may need onward referral to an orthopaedic specialist, obstetrician, gynaecologist or urologist due to the severity/prognosis of their presenting problem.

To formulate/develop and undertake evidence-based plan taking into account the management options available.
