You will work with patients on the wards, providing them with assessment and rehabilitation, alongside our multidisciplinary teams.

We are looking for a Band 4 Health Care Support Worker to join our engaging and friendly team of Occupational Therapists to support elective Orthopaedic surgery in Perth Royal Infirmary.

You will provide a supportive role to your Occupational Therapy colleagues who work in the Orthopaedic wards in PRI.

You will work with patients on the wards, providing them with assessment and rehabilitation, alongside our multidisciplinary teams. You will assist in the day to day running of the team and will undertake some administrative and housekeeping duties as required. You must have an understanding of the role of Occupational Therapy and have experience of working in a health or social care setting.

Education to SVQ level IV or equivalent would be advantageous and as a support worker, you will be required to achieve the mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.


You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment
