We wish to appoint an experienced and highly organised Ward Assistant to provide Administration duties to the Neonatal Unit the post holder will be required to provide excellent communication/customer service skills/digital skills.

As the Ward Assistant on the Neonatal Unit NMGH you will be responsible for the collating, validation of data to be submitted for reports for the management teams and their meetings. Support the housekeeping team with procurement and environmental processes.

The post holder will assist in providing support to the Neonatal Unit regarding stock levels and environmental issues. They will work closely with nursing, medical, and administrative colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the Neonatal Unit. An essential key part of this role will be data collation and management on the HIVE/Badgernet systems, this is to include collating and providing data as required at Local Neonatal Unit level for adhoc and scheduled reporting required by the Newborn Service Division, Managed Clinical Service.

This potholder will be required to be flexible, possess excellent communication skills and be able to work on their own initiative.

The post holder will be supported to develop existing skills to a higher level.
