This is an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team and help deliver care and support to people with a life limiting illnesses whilst also offering vital emotional support for their families. Ours is a one-to-one approach to care, so you're sure to enjoy plenty of meaningful contact with patients and their families - usually in their own homes.

What We Are Looking For


  • Relevant community experience
  • Continued access to NHS Pension Scheme (subject to eligibility)
  • S/NVQ Level 2/3 qualification or an equivalent certificate/diploma is desirable
  • Emotional strength and the ability to work on your own are crucial, though we will of course provide excellent on-going training and support
  • License to drive in the UK and access to a vehicle insured for business use are essential.

With experience of End of Life care, you're ready and able to make a real difference. Working without close supervision, you'll have the opportunity to use your own initiative in line with the patient's established care plan. You'll be required to carry out a range of care duties including helping patients meet their hygiene needs, monitoring symptoms, assisting with medications and keeping detailed records and emotional support to the patient and their families.
