The Medical Day Unit (MDU) is a Nurse Led, medical infusions, investigations and procedures unit accepting elective patients from medical specialities.
The Unit is currently undergoing expansion in its valuables services and have started recruiting across all bands.
As a Band 5 nurse on MDU, you will be expected to take instruction from the Band 6 Nurse in Charge and report directly to them.
You will be given a list of patients, with time appointed slots to assess and carry out treatment/ investigations that are required.
You will be required to follow pathways and protocols and evidence your work.
You will be expected to work as part of a team as well as independently throughout the day.
