Overview


We are looking for a committed, proactive and hands-on
Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor
with relevant knowledge and experience to join our team in Southern England. Ensuring that we continually embed a positive and visible HSE culture across the Group.


Salary: £50,000


The successful candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced across all health, safety and environmental elements. Be an excellent communicator, have a continual improvement mindset and also be pro-active and can work using own initiative.

Ideally you will have familiarity in working in a fast-paced and rapid growth environment. Workshop experience would also be advantageous.

The role comes with travel across the Depot network in the south of England so must have willingness to travel in this area upto 3 days a week (including overnight stays). Regular visits and undertaking of audits to our sites is a critical success factor and as well as providing expert advice and support to the Depot network.

Enterprise Flex-E-Rent is the commercial vehicle rental division of Enterprise in the UK and Ireland and is one of the UK's largest and most diverse commercial vehicle rental businesses.

With a fleet of more than 50,000 vehicles and over 1,000 employees, we are based across 40+ locations in the UK and Ireland. Responsibilities


Regular visits and undertaking of audits to our sites is a critical success factor and as well as providing expert advice and support to the Depot network in UK & Ireland.

As part of the team, you will be reporting to the HSE Manager and support them by:

  • Reacting positively and efficiently to any health and safety concerns raised
  • Ensuring legal compliance across the Group
  • Taking the lead in promoting matters relating to HSE on projects under their control
  • Monitoring HSE objectives and targets
  • Completing regular Depot inspections and audits and including monitoring the results and close out of any non-conformances

Qualifications


  • You will hold the NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)
  • Experience within HSE Advisor/Officer role
  • You will have a strong understanding of all HSE legislation
  • Have experience in ISO 140Environmental Management, ISO 450Occupational Health & Safety Management and ISO 90Quality Management
  • Hold a valid driving license
