We’re looking for a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration, enthusiasm, strong communications skills and who is driven to provide excellent patient focused care in our women's unit service.
This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible individual to work within our women’s unit. This offers chance to work in the early pregnancy assessment unit and the gynaecology assessment unit.
The successful candidate will also work in the hysteroscopy and colposcopy clinic. The women's unit is open 7 days a week between 8am-19.30pm.
The successful candidate will be a team player with a strong desire to provide compassionate care and empower others within a friendly and supportive environment.
You must be able to work well as part of a team and be able to use your initiative and work well under pressure. This would suit candidates with an interest or experience in gynaecology.
As this is a secondment opportunity please seek permission from your current manager before applying for this post.

- Provide assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for patients, ensuring accurate written records are kept.
- Communicate with patients and carers to ensure they have access to appropriate information.
- Promote and maintain positive relationships between all staff involved in the care of the patient
- Act in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code of Conduct
- Undertake duties on different wards/departments as and when required by service demands
- Demonstrate personal responsibility for compliance with infection control policies and procedures
