MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

Full Time - 37 hours per week
Woodside Medical Group currently has a vacancy for a friendly, helpful and motivated Medical Receptionist working
Monday, Tuesday 09.30am 2.30pm, Wednesday 7.30am 5.30pm and Thursday, Friday 8:00am 6:00pm
. We would be pleased to receive applications if you would like to work full time, or if you’d want to share the role with another applicant, please let us know when you apply.
Some flexibility in hours of work is required as different or additional hours may be required, by mutual agreement, to cover holiday/illness.
The Duties
- Dealing with patient appointments - both at reception and on the phone
- Registering and maintaining patient records
- Dealing with patient queries (including requests for prescriptions, test results and general information)
- Using software (Vision, Docman, SCI, Word, Excel etc)
- General administration
- Any other duties which you may be asked to complete from time to time
Person - You
- Communicate well with others both patients and your colleagues
- Respond quickly, efficiently and helpfully to all enquiries and requests
- Take care when completing tasks to make sure that your work is accurate
- Deal with and adapt to changing demands and priorities
- Help and support all colleagues
- Listen to others, ask the right questions and understand what you are being asked to do - asking for help when you need it.
- Deal well with difficult situations
- Maintain confidentiality
Salary range is £22,185 - £23,343 per annum depending on experience. You will be eligible for membership of the NHS pension scheme.
