Band Consultant: £99,532 to £131,964 a year Per Annum  PERMANENT 
This post will enhance the Consultant led delivery of Emergency Care to patients attending the Emergency Department of the Furness General Hospital.

As a consultant in Emergency Medicine, you will join a highly experienced, multicultural team and benefit from a competitive package which includes 1.5 SPAs (flexible). You will also be able to work the bulk of your SPA time flexibly, by agreement with the Clinical Director and Service Manager. The department is also in the later stages of moving towards a flexible rostering system to enable medical staff to have greater control over when they deliver their clinical activity, within agreed constraints. In addition, the Trust is heavily involved in both medical education and medical research and there is the opportunity for the right candidate to become involved in sub-specialties, if chosen. In addition, due to the challenges faced by Emergency Medicine across the country, you will also have the opportunity to help influence and shape service delivery for the future.
