Candidate's should hold a current professional registration with a professional body along with a recognised clinical teaching qualification or equivalent clinical mentoring and teaching experience. With a commitment to continual quality and service improvement, you will be responsible for ensuring services provide a progressive learning and development environment for all grades of staff including temporary staff and will ensure a high standard of care delivery through specialist knowledge and skills in clinical practice, providing advice, mentoring, supervision and training across services. You will implement key practice developments and quality initiatives in order to achieve excellence in patient care in partnership with nursing and clinical multidisciplinary teams.
You will provide a Senior Practitioner perspective in discussions with senior medical and clinical colleagues, Heads of Nursing and operational managers in developing a coordinated approach to service delivery which is informed by good nursing practice. You will promote and contribute to inter-professional learning activities across services and implement in-house teaching.
The post holder will be responsible for their personal and professional development whilst undertaking this role.
The role requires successful candidates to work (30 hours) 4 days per week Mon-Fri.
