We have an exciting permanent opportunity to join the Bath and North East Somerset (BaNES) Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) In Reach Team as a Clinical Specialist (Risk Support).
The role will include supporting interagency working between community CAMHS and Local Authority Children’s Services to provide a more coordinated and seamless experience of care and support to children, young people and carers who have multiple and complex needs.
This role contributes to the offer of ‘Risk Support’ in line with the i-Thrive model, providing a CAMHS perspective to the multi-agency network for children, young people and families, supporting the delivery of broader outcomes and helping to reduce safeguarding risks through a ‘Team Around the Relationship’ AMBIT informed multi-agency approach.
The post holder will provide Consultation to Children’s Social care and CAMHS colleagues, with a limited scope for direct work as indicated to meet the needs of young people and their carers. There will be opportunities to provide training to multiagency staff groups.
We would welcome applications from practitioners with experience of;
- Working with young people who have experienced mental health difficulties.
- Working with families who have been supported by Children’s services/ or working within Children’s services.
- Working within a consultation model/ AMBIT approach.
- Developing and delivering training.
- Supporting service growth and development
